Sacred Heart Parish Battersea is a parish of the Archdiocese of Southwark in the care of the Salesians of Don Bosco.

We are a diverse multicultural Catholic community covering a small geographical area with a big heart; from Clapham Junction train station, north to the river Thames, west to Plough Road and east as far as Culvert Road. You are welcome to join us!

Four clergy serve our parish community. Fr. Gerry O'Shaughnessy SDB, the Team Leader (Parish Priest) Fr. Hugh Preston SDB, Deacon Fidelis Chukwu and Deacon Michael Kennedy. The team are supported by Marion Chan, the Parish Administrator and Susan Bourke, the Parish Sacraments Administrator.

There are two Catholic schools in the parish. The Sacred Heart Primary School, Este Road and St. John Bosco College, Parkham Street.

There are three religious communities in the parish: the Salesians of Don Bosco, the Salesian Sisters and The Society of St. Paul.
