I’m planning to upgrade our old wooden pergola to a louvred one but keep hearing mixed opinions about how hard they are to install. Some say it’s straightforward with two people, while others mention complex roof alignment and drainage that must be precise. I’m fairly handy, but not a pro. Is this the type of project that ends up costing more because you need professional help, or is it doable with patience and careful measuring?
