Thank you to all those who came to the Easter Fayre and for all those who volunteered to help to make the afternoon such a great success. We raised a total of £453.77 which will go towards the Parish Renovation Fund

On Saturday May 7th, Sacred Heart Church was bubbling with excitement, games and the sound of children and families having fun together. A small team of volunteers arrived early to set up various stalls and games, including the pet Corner with friendly guinea pigs and fluffy bunnies, the Nail Parlour, the Nerf target range challenge, the revolting 'Face your Fears' and the 'Taste but not See' sensory challenges. Children enjoyed the traditional games such as 'Guess the Number of Eggs in a Jar' and Easter biscuits decorating as well. The fair weather permitted also the use of the garden, which was much welcomed by everyone.

We were delighted to have the support of some local businesses: the Lebanese and Oriental Restaurant Mazar, Gail's bakery and Cafe, Metamorphosis the hairdressers, the Fruit & Bloom florist and Putt in the Park, who kindly donated the exciting prizes for the Tombola. We are very grateful to children for being dedicated in minding stalls, two of them were the Cake stall and the second- hand books and toy sale, which together with the Tombola raised a total of £482.77 for the Church Renovation Fund. We are grateful to all who came, parishioners and friends of Sacred Heart for their support, to children for minding stalls and to everyone who contributed in any way, especially for their time, the gifts and all donations. It was a great day and we are looking forward to organizing more events in the future.
