WEEK Three

We acted out the formative events of the life of St Patrick and explored how God used Patrick’s experience of being kidnapped and living in extreme poverty and solitude in the rolling hills of beautiful Ireland to develop a deep relationship with him.

Patrick’s story was instrumental in God’s plan for Ireland. After escaping the kidnappers Patrick went to study for 14 years to become a priest, later a Bishop, just to return to Ireland and minister to its people. St. Patrick, the Apostle of Ireland, is a very much treasured saint in the hearts of Irish people.

Next, as the Irish love their nature and rainbows, we had fun creating a Rainbow in a test tube.

In the spirit of fun-loving Irish people, we played games with Skittles and popcorn, but the cheeky leprechauns were trying to make mischief!

At the end, the children had tremendous fun making the longest, rainbow paper chain which we decorated the church with! Thank you, St. Patrick, for your life and the fun we shared!
