The meaning of TRUST - Our Journey Through Lent - Week Two

How do you respond when the unexpected happens? Can you trust the voice of God and his direction?

We have prepared 6 creative Lenten workshops for children and families using drama, science experiments, art & craft and games to reflect on themes of trust, forgiveness, prayer and the new life.

Join us every Saturday 3-5pm in Sacred Heart Church for more science, drama, games and art&craft. #faith#fun#friendship

On Saturday April 2nd at 2.30pm we have secured 20 places for 1 hour long ice-skating session for children and families in Streatham Ice Rink. Because of the group booking, we shall enjoy a free skate hire!

WEEK TWO

We explored the meaning of TRUST.

We all want a good and happy life, and we like to cherry-pick the things we enjoy doing, the experiences and the people we like. How do you respond when the unexpected happens? Can you trust the voice of God and his direction?

We started by creating our own experiment by choosing the quantities of the ingredients we liked.

After that, we made Elephants Toothpaste by following the instructions precisely and the result was truly spectacular!

We played a game of following instructions while being blindfolded. How do you feel about stepping forward when you cannot see the way ahead?

Finally, we shared how these experiences made us feel. Can we trust the loving kindness of God that he will provide for us and will give us the things we need?
